- You can choose to seek help for your ADHD publicly or privately.
- You can contact private clinicians directly. A psychiatrist or psychologist can assess you for ADHD but only a psychiatrist can prescribe medication. Note that you will need to pay for private care. ADHD Ireland have a list of clinicians for adults here.
- You can also seek help for your ADHD through the HSE. The HSE have launched the National Clinical Programme for Adults with ADHD, which you can read about here.

- Your GP may refer you on to Adult Mental Health Services for assessment and for interventions.
